Agile approaches enable you to achieve greater quality, improved return on investment (ROI), reduced time to market, and significantly easier governance although require greater collaboration, teamwork, and discipline on the part of IT professionals and business stakeholders.
This workshop overviews agile software development, shares data from recent industry surveys as to the adoption rate and success rate of agile techniques, overviews the Agile Scaling Model (ASM), and explores scaling issues such as geographically distributed teams, regulatory compliance, large teams, organizationally distributed teams, technical complexity, domain complexity, enterprise issues, and organizational challenges. It focuses on the issues surrounding data and database development on IT projects and at the enterprise level, exploring the techniques encompassed by the Agile Data (AD) method.
