Cesar Ticas

Cesar has been a member of the DAMA NYC Chapter since 2/2023 in good standing. He has been an active member at DAMA NYC meetings. 

He also served on the Greek Orthodox Parish of Hunterdon County, Flemington NJ Board (not-for-profit organization), which is governed by the Uniform Parish Regulations of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America. He has been a Board member for 4 years, 2020-2023, serving as 2nd Vice President between 2021-2023.

He has a passion as a data professional with an interest in advancing the data community. Cesar holds a CDMP at the Master Level and is currently serving as the Senior Data Risk Officer for the US Banks at Morgan Stanley. With his experience serving as a Board member for a not-for-profit organization, he is accustomed to driving the goals and objectives from a wider perspective and would like to continue applying his background as a Board member for DAMA International.
 
In his various capacities in the data profession, Cesar’s roles have included global organizations, giving him a strong background in broader aspects. As an example, he had the opportunity to be part of MUFG (one of the largest global financial organizations) based in Japan. He has been fortunate to travel worldwide, engaging with various colleagues to form a cohesive program considering a broad perspective. He also has a passion for travel and exposure to multiple cultures. This experience gave him a greater understanding of inclusivity that he leverages daily in his career and as a Board member.
