    The main updates in the revised edition include:
    - Standardized terminology and acronyms for better comprehension
    - Corrections of typos and errors in figures across all chapters
    - Review an improvement of the 12 context diagrams

  4. How can I get a copy of the DAMA-DMBOK2 Revised Edition?
    The DAMA-DMBOK2 Revised Edition will be available on the Technics Publications website by April 2024. Afterward, it will be distributed through major online bookstores worldwide. The revised edition will be offered in both print and eBook formats to cater to different reader preferences.

    Yes, upon release, the DAMA-DMBOK2 Revised Edition will replace the previous version as the authoritative and up-to-date resource for data management professionals.

    At the time of its release, the DAMA-DMBOK2 Revised Edition will initially be available only in English. Translations into other languages are planned, but the exact timeline for their availability is not yet determined.     The DAMA-DMBOK2 Revised Edition will become the reference for CDMP certification preparation starting from October 2024. Until that date, candidates preparing for the certification can continue to study using the DAMA-DMBOK 2nd edition. From October 2024 onwards, the DAMA-DMBOK2 Revised Edition should be used for the most current and accurate information to prepare for the CDMP exam.

    If you purchase the revised edition but want to do your exam before October 2024, you can get a free PDF copy of DAMA-DMBOK 2 (not revised). You must enroll for the exam (cdmp.info) and then send an email to info@dama.org with proof of purchase of the revised edition. After verification, we will send you instructions to download your PDF.
