Have you heard? DAMA International has a new program to support Chapter DAMA Days.

DAMA International will allocate resources towards DAMA Days for three lucky chapters each year.

There are two levels of support: Flagship and Speakers.

Flagship support includes

  • 2 DAMA-I Board member speaker's travel expenses*
  • Event Management service
  • Ticket-selling platform

Speaker support includes

  • 2 DAMA-I Board members' travel expenses

Eligibility

FlagshipSpeaker
  • Affiliated Chapter in good standing (new, existing, or reforming Chapter)
  • Region not repeated with this support (rotating)
  • At least one year of being operational
  • Active online presence
  • PC and Regional Council frequent attendance
  • Having contact with at least two universities or other free-of-charge venue options
  • Having contact with at least six potential sponsors
  • Strong rationale to support the request
  • Affiliated Chapter in good standing
  • Active online presence
  • Region not repeated with this support (rotating)
  • PC and Regional Council frequent attendance

Criteria

Chapters will be selected based on:

  • The Chapter's ability to organize and execute the event within the established timeline and budget.
  • The Chapter's ability to contribute financially and demonstrate responsible financial management.
  • Existing relationships with local sponsors, businesses, or institutions, enhancing event sustainability and outreach.
  • Strength and stability of the Chapter’s leadership team, indicating a higher likelihood of successful event execution.
  • An active volunteer base willing to assist with the event and related responsibilities.

If necessary, the final decision will be made by a majority vote of the Board of Directors.
